Our people

Our people are the most valuable element of our business. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy and inclusive workplace where our employees can be themselves and achieve their full potential.

A century of WRc

WRc is a Centre of Excellence for Innovation & Growth that is trusted globally to deliver innovative sustainable solutions. Our dedicated team care about delivering a positive legacy in partnership with our clients. The journey started almost 100 years ago in 1927 as the Water Pollution Research board for the government, and over many years evolved to undertake a growing number of research projects covering all aspects of water and wastewater supply, treatment and catchment management.

WRc was privatised alongside the water industry in 1989, and since then has operated as an independent consultancy. During this time, the company has expanded its client base now operating across different sectors including water, environment, gas, industrial and resource managements. WRc continues to be trusted by regulators, utility providers and their supply chains to deliver solutions which move the industries we serve forward.

In 2020, WRc were pleased to become part of RSK Group. RSK is a leading integrated environmental, engineering and technical services business providing end-to-end services to help their clients achieve aspirations in a sustainable and efficient manner.
