WRc is part of RSK Group. RSK is an employee owned business and is governed by a board of directors who are responsible for the strategy of the business. The broader leadership team consists of over 150 people who ensure that the Group’s strategy is implemented in every part of the business.

Testing Laboratory Accreditation

Our waste laboratories hold UKAS accreditation in accordance with International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

Certification Body Accreditation

UKAS accredited in accordance with International Standard ISO/IEC 17065, WRc is Water UK’s Nominated Certifying Body for the certification of contractors who wish to become / maintain approval as an Approved Contractor; as defined in the Water Industry Specification (WIS) 4-02-01 Operational Requirements: In situ resin lining of water mains.

Achilles UVDB

WRc is registered on the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database which provides supplier management information to utility purchasing organisations such as:

  • Power generation, transmission and distribution (including nuclear)
  • Water and wastewater
  • Telecommunications
  • Petrochemical
  • Gas

Waste Carrier License

The UK Environment Agency requires businesses to obtain a license to operate as a waste carrier, broker or dealer.

WRc holds a Waste Carrier License, allowing us to carry out our services providing sustainable solutions within the waste sector.

WRc is not obliged under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 to publish a statement setting out the steps taken in the previous financial year to demonstrate that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our supply chains or own business. However, we recognise slavery and human trafficking are significant human rights issues and are committed to take all reasonable and practicable steps such that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our organisation and supply chains.

WRc have adopted the RSK Group Modern Slavery policy, and as such the RSK Group Modern Slavery statement can be deemed to represent the actions and outcomes for WRc Ltd also.
