Earlier this year, water companies submitted draft business plans to Ofwat setting out more than £100 billion of investment that would be needed between 2025 and 2030 to deliver the environmental aims and plans of the sector.
The IoW South West conference will focus on the region’s water sector plans and analyse the implications of Ofwat’s draft determinations for the South West.
Speakers and attendees will delve into how scientific advancements, engineering innovations and societal strategies can contribute to achieving ambitious environmental goals. Additionally, an engaging workshop will highlight the leadership skills necessary to unite stakeholders across various industries and sectors, fostering collaboration toward these objectives.
Following the conference, the much anticipated, annual black-tie dinner will take place - this year in the fabulous setting of the Bristol Aquarium on the city’s Harbourside. You can even arrive at the venue by boat!
