Wet Networks 2022: Circular Water Economy

Event date: 31 Mar 2022

Hosted by Arup and WRc

Through the regular hosting of invitation only events, Wet Networks are developing a sustainable business ‘eco-system’ that will allow water technology companies to share ideas and business relationship opportunities with leading users, entrepreneurs, vendors, advisors and funders. WRc and Arup hope that our deep and longstanding expertise in the sector, combined with the energy and commitment of the invited companies will make our Wet Networking Series a driver for growth and innovation.

After two years of virtual events we are delighted to host our first hybrid Wet Networks.

Water is a precious and finite resource, intrinsically linked with other systems such as governance, the natural system and the urban system. Water is the ultimate circular resource due to its ability to be processed relatively cheaply and used productively again and again.

Circular Economy principles have undergone major developments and are being applied in many sectors across the globe ranging from fashion to finance. The water sector however, has been predominantly focused on the theoretical aspects and we see a real need for its translation to practical applications.

Now in its fifteenth year, Wet Networks showcases new ideas and technology to help transform the way we manage water. Join us on 31st March 2022 at our next Wet Networks event, to hear from our Keynote presenter, Dr Tom Arnot of Bath University.
