Dr Leo Carswell, Principal Consultant (Technology & Innovation)

Leo's expertise lies in sensors and instrumentation for water, wastewater and environmental applications. He delivers guidance on applications and standards, and performs technology testing, approval and certification for our WRc Approved scheme. His work also involves projects on technology transfer between water and gas sectors.

We're all over it

WRc are delighted to return as exclusive guests at WWEM Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring Conference and Exhibition.

Make sure to visit the WWEM Demo Area where WRc colleagues, including Principal Consultants Andy Godley (Flow Measurement & Metering) and Dr Leo Carswell (Technology & Innovation), will be exhibiting our testing services, particularly MCERTS, as well as our capabilities in technology instrumentation and testing. They will also be on hand to discuss WRc's wider services in the water, wastewater and environmental sectors. Both are also on the judging panel for industry awards being presented at the Gala Dinner which wraps up the event's first day.

Andy and Leo will also be hosting the return of the instrumentation accelerator programme, a competition for pairs of career-starters or apprentices from water (or related) companies to test themselves against their peers in a fun, challenging and constructive environment that provides plenty of learning & development opportunities. The winning team, to be announced on stage at the awards dinner, will personally mentored for a year afterwards and given opportunities to develop their skills in ways that money simply cannot buy.
