Andrew also has multiple years’ experience in training delivery and workshop facilitation in the UK and abroad – either as part of business change projects or as stand-alone training in the foundations of asset management.

  • Asset Management Subjects: Provides a comprehensive overview of the complete scope of topics within asset management, broken into 6 subject groups:
    • Strategy and Planning: Central to an asset management system, this group focuses on aligning the system with organizational goals and improving its implementation through policy, strategy, demand analysis, and long-term planning.
    • Decision Making: This group centers around ensuring decisions impacting the asset lifecycle align with organizational objectives through frameworks, analysis, and strategies, including capital investment, operations, maintenance, lifecycle value realization, resourcing, and shutdown strategies.
    • Life Cycle Delivery: These topics focus on improving asset performance, cost, and risk during the operational phase by addressing inefficiencies through maintenance, technical standards, systems engineering, and various management strategies
    • Knowledge Enablers / Information: In order to ensure successful lifecycle activities and decision-making, this group focuses on the need to provide accessible, accurate data and information through strategy, standards, systems, and management.
    • Organisation & PeopleTopics within this group outline how asset management success is gained through effective organizational structure, leadership, roles, procurement, supply chain management, culture, and competence.
    • Risk & Review: These subjects focus on improving assets and systems by balancing risk and performance through knowledge in areas like risk assessment, contingency planning, sustainable development, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
