Course overview

Led by an industry-leading water risk expert, this training upskills your teams on the key skills required to master understanding corporate water risk exposure and taking mitigative actions. 

Besides gaining practical water risk knowledge that teams can immediately implement, participants can start identifying the business' specific water risks, knowledge gaps and future actions in specifically designed workshops.

Following an introduction call, the training is fully tailored to meet your team’s requirements. Typically the trainings last 1-2 days and are conduced in person.

• Become proficient in using open-source online tools to assess high-level water risks and prioritise sites for an in-depth water risk assessment.
• Avoid commonly-made costly mistakes by knowing when open-source tools cannot used to understand water risk exposure and an in-depth water risk assessment is required instead.
• Learn how to conduct an in-depth water risk assessment, including physical water risk, water infrastructure risks and water governance risks, and complete these for your sites.
• Communicate water risk exposure and business case for mitigating risks with impact.
• Identify and prioritise impactful solutions and opportunities.
