Sharon has over a decade's experience consulting and training within the wastewater sector, including: wastewater analytical laboratories and R&D, sewage works failure analysis, Operations, and Wastewater Optimisation. She has also worked as a Process Coach and NVQ Assessor/Verifier, representing Thames Water in forming new National Occupational Standards for Operating Process Plant with EUSkills and CABWI. At WRc, Sharon has developed and delivered multiple courses to water treatment laboratory, operational, regulatory and management staff.
Water regulations worldwide place a responsibility on water undertakers to apply appropriate treatment processes to ensure the water discharged to the environment and supplied to customers is safe. There is a need to ensure those working to produce drinking water have been equipped with the correct knowledge to enable them to do this effectively.
