Read moreWe are delighted to announce an exciting new addition to our Technical Consulting business: the Infrastructure Asset Management (IAM) team from fellow RSK company MWH Treatment. Our water network and leakage experts are excited to welcome ten engineers and consultants to this growing technical directorate, led by Glen Mountfort. The team will be based at the WRc new regional office at Soapworks in Manchester.
Working with WRc’s Head of Water Networks, Richard Foster, the IAM team bring with them capabilities within one of the sectors biggest challenge areas securing client benefits relating to water quality, leakage, supply interruptions, risks of severe restrictions, and customer satisfaction. Their clients include Severn Trent Water, Thames Water and Anglian Water, among others.
The IAM team’s engineering expertise is led by Chris Morriss for network modelling and field work, and James Tremlett for network analysis. James shares his excitement to get on board at WRc:
We are an established team with many years behind us of providing a close-knit operation within the wider MWHT business. While being thankful for where we have come from, I’m really excited to have been given this opportunity for further expansion for our team; this transition provides us with space to grow with the great people at WRc and we look forward to unlocking avenues and new ventures together across a wide client base.
Richard Foster comments:
The combination of IAM’s network operation and optimisation capability with WRc’s engineering, scientific analytics and research focus creates an expert Water Networks team that can now provide a complete approach for our clients to better understand and manage their water networks. The integration of asset health understanding and operational support that is available within one WRc team ensures that clients are provided with holistic solutions to network challenges that do not favour one ODI to the detriment of another. The UK water industry is at a stage in its journey where new ideas and new ways of working are required for a step-change in performance, and the new Water Networks team at WRc provide the expertise and support to the industry to enable this change.
